serving every school
Persist Nashville is a contracted community partner of MNPS and has provided services to students from every Nashville public high school. This year we coached students from 29 Nashville high schools attending over 121 different colleges and universities.
Choose901 Alumni
For the past year we have supported Choose 901 Alumni, a program of Memphis-based, City Leadership. To support their 2000+ college and young adults providing consulting, professional development, and technology to expand and improve their model.

In 2020, DCPS launched DCPS Persists. A program designed to support enrollment and persistence of DCPS students. Over the past 4 years we have worked along side DCPS Persists to support their model and growth. We are proud of the work they do and partnership we have built.
serving technical schools
In 2023 we actively set out to learn more about coaching and supporting technical students. Through a renewed relationship with TCAT Nashville, we grew our support of technical students by 10x. Together we hope to build a strong vocational student coaching arc that can be used across the state.
Our first client
In June of 2019, RePublic Schools become our first partner. They contributed to assure that all graduates of the inaugural class received the support they need to excel in college. Persist continues to partner with the RHS to coach and support every graduate of RePublic Schools.
Local impact
Since 2019, Persist has served hundreds of students at Nashville’s biggest feeder school, connecting them to resources and study groups on campus. We continue to work with NSCC administration to support enrollment and serve their students.

TCASN has been a leader in college persistence work throughout the state of TN for years. We are working with them to share data and best practices to carry out their vision for 40% Nashville Persistence rate by 2025.
Being the bridge
NPEF has served as an advocate for public school students in Nashville since 2001. They serve to unite public and private partners to improve outcomes for MNPS students. They are the co-authors of the important Bridge to Completion Report which inspired the creation of Persist Nashville.
Keeping the connection
YMCA Black and Latino Achievers programs provide college access services and scholarships for hundreds of MNPS graduates. We are proud to serve as the college persistence partner to serve their students as they leave high school, enroll, and persist in college.
